Texto: Mateus 6:10.
I. Conhecendo a vontade de Deus.
1. Pela Palavra de Deus com seus princípios, exortações e exemplos.
2. Pela oração, que é o método pelo qual a vontade humana se alinha com a vontade divina.
3. Pelo compartilhar, ouvir experiencia dos nossos irmãos e como eles oram dirigidos por Deus. Muitos deles tendo sido missionário e profissionais que descobriram um meio de servir.
4. Pelas circunstancias. Para nós que aceitamos o senhorio de Cristo, Ele é o Senhor da nossas circunstância e controla soberanamente todos os acontecimentos da nossa vida para guardar-nos no caminho que Ele quer.
II. A vontade de Deus é esta. Que eu reconheça o Senhor a Cristo como Senhor de todo meu ser.
Pregar o Evangelho que é possível aceitar a Jesus como Salvador e menosprezá-lo como Senhor é baratear o cristianismo autêntico. Eis as razões porque entre nós existem muitos Cristãos com vida sem consistência. Estes tipos de pregação produz cristão festivos e uma mocidade de "oba oba".
1. Cristo o Senhor da alma. (Rm.10.9,13).
2.Cristo é o Senhor do corpo (Rm.12.1;Ts 4.3-4).
3. Cristo é o Senhor do intelecto (Rm12.20).
4. Cristo o Senhor do lar (Ex.20.12)"O Evangelho começa em casa; tem de ser prático. Se não funciona no lar, não funciona em lugar nenhum".
5.Cristo é Senhor do coração.(Fl.10.11).
III A vontade de Deus é esta: "Que eu aprenda o propósito de Cristo, através da Igreja Local.
1. Cristo é o Senhor da sigrejas locais.
O proposito final de Deus é que todos os homens reconheçam a Jesus o seu filho amado, como Senhor. Também que todos os homens se salvem e cheguem ao conhecimento da verdade (1Tm2.4). A missão da igreja é cumprir este propósito.Em Efésios 1.20-22 nos diz que Deus exalta Jesus Cristo pela igreja.
2. A diversidade da Igreja promove o amor (Ap 1,2.3).
É na igreja que aprendemos a amar. A igreja é indispensável no discipulado de Cristo.
